What's going on with Colgan?

Any word on what is happening at Colgan these days? Hiring? Planes? etc...

Anything other then the regular B!t@hing about PFT please.

Last time I checked they were still trying to convince people the casuse of the 1900 accident was pilot error.. Can't wait to read the final report.

I hear they are actually starting to hire into both aircraft outside of the PFT schools. Check their web site under employment for information on that.

10 additional Saabs this year and a slowly reduced 1900 fleet is in the works... or so I've been told.

Don't let chopper scare ya, it's not really that bad.

I don't think Steve and Scott would see it that way..

If you get the Saab you'll be fine. For some reason when the Saab breaks, it doesn't fly.. When the Beach breaks....

I haven't been with Colgan for about 3 months now so things may have changed. They didn't in the 3 years before that, but one never knows..

How about pay, any pay during training or do they pull a pinnicle on ya?
Hotel during traing?

I'll give it to the Colgans on the training issue.. They pay you (not sure how much) during training and double you up in a hotel room all the way through.
