Well, I just got a phone call on friday from the chief pilot of Ram Air Freight offering me a job. He left me a voice mail, so I didn't actually talk to him, but the Class starts on August 23rd. I've also got an interview with Scenic Air on August the 11th, and was wondering where I should go from here? Do i accept the job with Ram Air, and see if something better happens with Scenic before then, or is Scenic Air even worth the experience that Ram Air Freight is?

Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks

You take the job

Old adage a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush; you take the Ram Air job, and if you can interview and not interfere with the Ram job, you do that also. But if you do not have firm job offer from the other place by the start of class at Ram Air class, you go to the Ram Air class and build your resume. Never look back it will drive you nuts.

agreed.

Dont be crazy, take the job.

If a better one comes along in 3 weeks, quit the job.

Dont buy the BS about loyalty, they dont give 2 shiits about you either.

Keep doing this until you reach your goal.

J-rod.....

You, move out east man? Never would've thunk it....

I'd interview at Scenic.....if you get it before the Ram class date, then make your decision....

See ya...

I agree 100%...

DA Capt agrees with me?

Ed Gads! what is this board coming to? I could add you do not need a college degree at Ram, but I won't do that, it would be "teasing the tiger"

I know, I know... As I was typing my reply I was thinking to myself "I can't believe I am writing this, I can't believe I am writing this..." ;)

Your right, you don't need college for Ram... But who wants to spend their entire career there? For that "next step" you will most likely need a college degree to progress to a decent job...
