I submitted my application months ago and recently got an email from HR stating that I have not been called for an interview because I have DAL for my domicile. If I were to list other choices that I would most likely get a call for an interview real soon. Once hired, do you have priority on a slot in another base over a new hire?
Thanks for the info.

Although there are 5 domiciles currently approved, the company pinpoints which bases they want filled during each interview session. There is NO contractual provision to EVER move to another domicile once you have been assigned one either. In other words, you want PBI but were assigned LAX. Guess what, the company can keep you in LAX your whole career. If anyone tells you anything else, it just "aint" true. Just something to consider.

That's true only until the pilot qualifies for an HBA. Of course, just a WAG, I'd say that if you were hired today, under the current system it would probably take 4-5 years for that to happen.
