Dispatch doesn't know where you are, the training dept will change your procedures about once every 5 months, crew scheduling hates crew members, and the list goes on. All I was saying is that regional flying is good preperation for flying at larger carriers. I know that might not be the reality right now for most of you, but the industry will get better. Someday.

After sitting in a crashpad on reserve for the last year with other reserves from AA MD80 guys to United 777 guys, it's most certainly NOT the same. From duty rigs to general respect on callout, it's a different ballgame altogether.

We usually play a game of hotter/colder. They generally start in the middle of the Ms and go from there.
