Passenger weights seem to be inconsistent amongst carriers.

were 197 in the winta and 192 in da summa

Shuttle America...
pax:
190 (May-Oct)
195 (Nov-Apr)
guide dogs 80
kids 2-11 are 80 year 'round
Charters use actual pax wts

bags:
std. checked 30
planeside 30
mil. duffels 75
ski/boots/poles 25

Pretty much rules out a full boat in the saab with the new weights.

We just went to 190 @ SkyWest. I heard that each FISDO determines what Pax weigh.

All this new weight stuff is garbage. All for an accident the NTSB determined was because of contract maintenance. I guess the FAA didn't get the memo from the NTSB.

185 pounds all year at Continental Express
93 pounds for children

30 pounds for checked bags
20 pounds for gate checks

at CMR, apparently they did a survey over a month where they actually weighed people and bags.

so, now pax are 195 (year-round) and bags are 30.5. god forbid we use the lower FAA weights...

at TSA, it's as much as 198lbs summer and 203 in the winter! Those weights are killing us, could never fill 50 pax on a 145ER ...

Mesaba: 170 in summer, 175 in winter. No carry on bags allowed besides small personal items. Standard bags are 30, big bags are 50, cargo is actual.
