What do you ASA guys think of the new name options?

Why do you think XJT guys will all vote "Expressjet"? I'd be happy with "ASA" but the full name is such a mouthful. Expressjet is easier to say than Atlaaantticc SSSouthEEEast Aiirliines.

If the ASA guys are going to be pi$$ed with the Expressjet name then I'd go with Endeavor.

I'm ASA and Im voting for ExpressJet. I could care less what they call the airline as passengers don't know or care anyway, but I think XJT has a better reputation and more people know about XJT.

I have been getting strange questions and remarks while commuting from TSA, Gate Agents, etc. who have never heard of ASA. I can't even imagine what It would be like with Endevour or Sky Connection.

People hate change. I expect most at both airlines will vote for their current name, with a small percentage voting for the other existing name and a smaller percentage voting for Endeavor (I'll be disappointed if Sky Connection has more than 1 vote). In that scenario ExpressJet should win easily.

Well it certainly is when you add all of those extra letters! Seriously though, without the acronym you're looking at 5 syllables before you even get to "Airlines". They wasted a bunch of money eliminating the acronym so I wouldn't expect it to come back.

I for one would be equally happy with Atlantic Southeast or ExpressJet. After sleeping on it, I suppose I could live with Endeavor. It beats the heck out of SureJet anyway. Sky Connection is terrible and should never have made it to the ballot.

On a side note, I seriously wonder if this vote is real or just for show. I remember voting on school mascot/colors back when I attended a newly built high school. Every student you talked to supported one option, but the winner was suspiciously the option only the faculty seemed to favor. Do we really have a choice here or is this the illusion of choice?

This isn't just a pilot vote guys. With Houston shrinking so much and Atlanta growing, I'm willing to bet there are more original ASA employees here than XJT.
