According to rumors, AWAC got it.
I think the company wants people to keep quitting before the new contract decision is made.
Some blue airplanes & warm cookies would be a nice Christmas present for all AWAC employees though (okay, the cookies only for crewmembers).
Here is something that isn't a rumor. The lowest bid from any carrier on the Midwest RJ flying was 30% more money per block hour than Midwest wanted to pay. They are looking for a small turn key operation for prices that are lower than most current rj carriers can produce with their current large code share agreements.
My bet is that the whole idea of an additional code share partner at Midwest is scuttled.
Um, how is that not a rumor?
Internally we (AWAC) have been told there is a 3rd partner in discussions as well. (Check the company message board).
Keeping a second partner quiet I believe, two partners quiet I don't believe. I think the company wants people to keep quitting before the new contract decision is made.
You may be surprised to know that there are people out there who know the truth and that truth can be transfered on to other people either in whole or in part.
You can still treat it as a rumor though. I won't be put out.
Well, I don't know if I am the only one to think this, but the key to your post is INTERNAL, but whatever, someone a while back let the cat out of the bag so I guess what does it really matter anyways anymore.

I often agree with that, but I don't think that what I posted was any kind of proprietary information.
What do you mean when you say someone let the cat out of the bag?
I wouldn't be suprised by your analysis...but until you name/produce a credible source, by definition your information is nothing but a rumor.

How is this surprising seeing that their current feed is below Mesa/GoJet pay?

Wow, where to start. Let me guess, you're a special friend of superpilot92. The only other wonderboy that really has no concept of what's going on.
Yeah, we really sold out at the 19/32 seat market. The industry has crumbled around us and our 25 airplanes (at the time). You should have been here. Everyone was issued sunglasses for our blistering growth we were to expect.
Tell you what Einstein, compare all of the 340, Dash 8-100, Brasilla, and J41 operators on their second contract, post 9-11, etc. How did we fare?
I'm almost sorry for the rant, but I'm disgusted you would compare this pilot group to Mesa/GoJet. We haven't put any tread marks on the back of any other pilot group.

Wow, such anger. Tell me your pay is good and I'll retract my statement. I say this with no ill will towards you and your group, but let's call a spade a spade. Your pay is awful.
My uncle is the CFO for Midwest and he said that Mesaba just recieved an official memo stating they were awarded the flying this afternoon!
NOT- I never believe anything until it's published or until we are told about it from credible sources. I have determined that people here at flightinfo do not fit into the credible category.
For someone with over 1,000 posts, you may know the "Truth". But sorry, I still don't believe. PS- I hope Mesaba pulls though.
