I agree guys. The NJA pilots may have referred to their voted down TA as a POS, but at least it was a complete first offer in the correct format.

Anyone who has ever negotiated for something realizes that the other side rarely ever makes their best and final offer first. They fully expect a counter. That's how negotiations work, remember? The only time you should jump on a deal is when it's "priced to sell" and you have looked at enough comps to know you're getting a fair offer. Even then, there's more than money to consider. What about the infamous fine print which is conspicuously missing in this case. (That alone is a red flag). Would the work rules be balanced? Or stacked against you? You can't accurately judge what isn't there--and the FLOPS know that.

WOW... You truly are clueless. The only pilots I know that would accept a horrible offer like that are bad pilots. You guys are lucky you have job, so you will take anything. The majority of us are very good at what we do and we know what we are worth. If Flops goes out of business tomorrow a lot of us would find employment relatively soon. People like you, who probably can't pass a sim eval may have something to worry about!

Management isn't the only one with bills to pay and obligations to meet. The frac lifestyle is a difficult one and that has to be figured into the equation, as well. Clearly, it is better for all involved if the pilots are confident their families needs are met while they're away. Stressed out pilots worrying how to make ends meet aren't in the best frame of mind to concentrate solely on the job, nor are they motivated to go the extra mile. Management's respect (or lack thereof) will be reflected in a TA which I am sure the Options pilots will give the full consideration it is due. Needless to say, the closer it comes to meeting the industry standard the more attention it will receive.

I promise you if NJASAP said we needed money. The pilots would be tripping over each other to donate money to feed our cause. This would be on top of the dues.
