Has any one heard any new info about the Westwind crash in Panama . 7 people were killed when air ambulance slammed into a hanger killing one person on the ground. Initial reports was an engine failure. Now they are saying weight & balance or fuel imbalance .
I don't know what info you're looking for, but I tell you as much as I know. It is owned by an air ambulance in Punta Gorda, FL. The owners are two brothers. They seemed like good fellows. They had about 3 westwinds, maybe 2 citations, 1 C340, and a seneca. I remember the pilots always being in a good mood. The most interesting part of their operation is the amount of international flying. Lots of south america and europe trips. All their planes were painted alike, tan and blue.
the jet commander was originally made by Rockwell (does it look like the Aero comander).. but at the same time it was making Saberliner and the goverment made them sell one of the companies so the Israel Aircraft bought the company .first was the Jet Comander 1121. then 1123
Westwind is now owned by Gulfstream. I used to worked for medjets (airtrek inc) and they do know who makes there aircraft . This company also lost a Westwind July 2 in Panama 7 dead. SAD !!!!!!!!
