A little birdie told me that West Coast Charters in SNA is hiring Be20 and B350 pilots. Captains need approx. 3000tt with King Air time, FOs around 2500 and some decent multi time so they can upgrade quickly.

A little birdie told me that, too, only there was no requirement for King Air time, just turboprop PIC time.

The birdie also told me they are looking for someone NOW - class date June 1.

It was a chatty bird.

Why are there so many openings there. Are people leaving for good jobs or are they sick of working there.

We've had one guy recalled and another hired to the airlines, but the rest of the movement is due to fleet growth and moving on to bigger planes. I still say it's a great place to work.

I stopped in there about 2 mo. ago because I was killing time waiting for a buddy to arrive at the main terminal- they said that they fly their t-props single-pilot. Did they change this.. or are the f/os just there in case the chartering client prefers having 2 pilots?
