W2's and companion travel/ taxable per diem (XJT)

In regard to taxes: Since companion travel through XJT's pass program is considered taxable, is that taxable amount automatically included in your W2 earnings, or do you need to add it to your W2 earnings when you file. (Same question for taxable per diem).
 
use the information from the W2, thats what was reported to the govt and what they expect to see. If you look at your employee deposit advice, you can see where "pass travel tax" was added to your wages. You might have to search around for what checks it was added to, but it should all be there.
