I've heard more and more junior FOs at ACA that sit "on the fence" concerning the TA considering voting YES because they think it will save their jobs. Nobody on the MEC has promulgated this ignorant line of thinking. This TA may or may not more require furloughs. Our jobs hang in the balance either way, almost 50/50.

Five years from now when ACA is making record profits at our expense, can you stick by your YES vote after all you'll have given up in pay and benefits? Five years from now when furloughed from ACA after it went under after losing all the UEX flying, would your YES vote have made a difference? Five years from now, when the TA was voted down, UAL emerged from bankruptcy and everybody involved realized that UAL/ACA have a mutual symbiotic relationship wouldn't you and the rest of the industry be glad that we stood our ground, fought MGT and put this hiccup behind us?

Considering the currennt TA offers no additional furlough protection, massive wage and benefit reductions, no "snapback" language and no clause to return our 96 current furloughs, how can anyone morally vote YES? FIVE years is an epoch in the aviation industry and far too long to again take in the pooper!!!

Vote NO!!! IF, and only IF the situation is as dire as the fat cats in MGT want us to believe, they would've taken more wage reductions and spread the pain throughout the company. And, IF and only IF, it is that bad, they'll want to bargain again and this time around we'll be able to make a sound decision not based on maybes, "possiblies" and fear.

Don't be ignorant! And be d@mn sure, either way you go, you be sure to vote!!!

Tailwinds...

PS: our own MEC negotiating committee stated at the road show "this is a 'sh1t sandwich' TA" and a cross bigger than we pilots should bear.
