The second link is a ash cloud forecast chart, but I don't believe it is published unless something significant is going on.
As far as Puerto Rico area is concerned the only active volcano is Soufriere Hills on the island of Montserrat and is currently not erupting enough to pose a significant aviation threat.
When it's a factor, volcanic ash can be very dangerous stuff. It doesn't show up on aircraft weather radar and there have been some "near misses" with jets that have inadvertantly flown into it at night. A couple of 747s that came out of the cloud with sand blasted opaque windshields and engines that had quit - full of volcanic glass. Luckily the crews were able to get a relight and limp to an airport.
