Just thought that with everything going on - you guys could use a good laugh. Talk about pft at its worst ...

Description:
Vision Aviation Management, LLC's first officer qualification program. We are initiating this program to staff our air operations with fully qualified and trained pilots. It is designed for those who are fully trained and qualified pilots that are US Citizens. We have made a simple multi-step process for you in which to gain qualification and certification in the type of aircraft we operate. The successful candidates will be required to pay for their type rating and pass all the tests required to achieve that type rating and a FAA 8410. This will qualify the candidate to operate as a required first officer in air carries operations. In addition, we guarantee you a minimum of 200 hours of flight time in turbojet aircraft. Once you have successfully completed all required qualification and arrive at your base in Las Vegas, you will receive a starting salary of 1,000.00 per month for general living expenses and when on the road, hotel expenses will be paid by vision. After the successful completions of these hours and should you chose to do so, the candidate will be considered for an interview with us as a full time position as a pilot. Your anticipated costs for this program are as follows: $19,500.00 for initial aircraft and company indoctrination as applicable under FAR 135.293 and 135.297. There may be addition costs if there is any failure that requires a re-test. If you feel you can qualify for this program, please call me as soon as you can. We only have two slots open at this time.

Hurry there is only two slots left :D

WHERE DO I SIGN UP?!?

Wow, this sounds like the opportunity of a lifetime for all of us low time pilots! </sarcasm>

Are you really serious? Who in their right mind would pay to work for a company like this, 200hrs for 20k? I mean come on.. this is horrible, the industry really is in shambles.

Wow,
Only $100/hour...cheaper than renting a PA-44

BUT then again...

How can you look another pilot in the eye? Live with your guilt. Tell your family that you are a Hor@#

But you do what you have to do.

There is a person at my school who is planning on attending Gulfstream Academy...he says "...I figure you guys (CFI's) aren't going anywhere I figure I'll just do this and then be flying jets way before you guys."

I almost hit him...but here is my plan...

We all need to get secondary hotmail/yahoo/mail.com email addresses and just bombard these companies with "GO TO H#LL" email and/or fake resumes wanting these jobs...we might be able to crash so email servers...or at least make some people mad!

LOCK AND LOAD BOYS

yeah but nobody likes that kid, and apparently neither did his last examiner.......i hope he gets that jet job......what a punk

Sorry to say, bombarding their email server is pretty lame. What you can do, and you won't reap the rewards for years to come, is to actively work with your airline as an interviewing captain or something to that affect, and when these weanies come along and you're part of their interview, you grill them to death on the fact that they PFT'd.

I will say it now, WHEN I eventually get on somewhere, and WHEN I become an active part of the recruiting team, I WILL SINK EVERY PFT'ing INDIVIDUAL WHOSE RESUME / APPLICATION COMES ACROSS MY FINGERS.

They will have invested tens of thousands of dollars to jump in front of me now (I won't be able to get these queers because they'll be in front of me), but the shiitbirds that come behind me, when I get on with their dream airline, will go home crying after they meet me and don't get the job. All that work to get their Delta or American or Southwest job (wherever the hell I end up) and THEY WILL BE DENIED! Mark my words you losers, you better hope you don't ever see me.

That is what you can do.

Folks,
This is nothing new...it's good ole PFT. Go to the General and Training threads and you'll see some clown hailing it as the best thing to come along since sliced bread.
Better to earn it than to pay for it.

acaTerry, is right guys, this is nothing new.
They have been doing this for years. They get a lot of pilots from over-seas and career changers that think this is a quick way to the airlines.
