The Virgin King

Here's my two cents worth......

Yes, it's public knowledge that SRB is trying this (again). He tried it before & yes, was involved w/JetBlue before they were called Jet BLue. And just look @ JB now...

The foreign ownership laws have prevented him from doing this (@least as he would like) previously but as I understand it, there are various ways around this. Notwithstanding all this, he is an airline CEO who takes a serious look at the business/marketing side & will not put his name to something unless it has a good chance of succeeding. VS may not pay the same as BA but I'd bet the staff morale etc is much better. Also, look at what he did in Oz with Virgin Blue.
I would venture that if tis does get off the ground, it would prob be with 737-800s and the Virgin brand name would go with it but Virgin Red?!!! I don't think so.

Should be real interesting, if not refreshing....

Mr Branson was interested in being involved with Jetblue, but as far as I know, it never got any farther than that. We did, however, swipe some talent from Virgin (Marketing).
