i have one that is WAC scale of part of the NE corridor. Don't know the year off hand. Was used by a military pilot. If I get home again soon, ill grab it for information.....

Simply type in "Aeronautical Charts" into the search box on eBay and you will find pages of old sectionals.

I've always had an interest in maps and aviation history and thought it would be cool to collect sectional and WAC charts from the first half of the 20th century. I've searched on the internet and eBay, but can't find any links to sites that deal in vintage aviation maps.

Anybody here know of any sources for these?

Heh heh heh ...

I've got lots of old charts (Grandpa started flying in '27) but I'm not sharing.

How bizarre, I was just searching on the internet today for vintage sectionals. Always thought it'd be neat to get some old charts from a different era.

Like you, I had no luck finding any myself.

So if anyone knows of a place, theres atleast two people interested...

Used to jump with a guy in Louisianna, his father trained pilots for the Army in Lafayette using the Jenny, his garage was full of old charts with A/N ranges and such, a few OX5 engines and old parachutes, great stuff.

I must be in a friggin' time warp, your response came before my question. Thanks, I looked under every search term I could think of, but thought aero charts would be too specific for eBay folks.

Now don't y'all start upping my bids.
