Some random neural activity:

We've all heard of Air Force One and Marine One...when the President flew out to Abraham Lincoln last week, what would have been the callsign of the S-3 he was on? "Navy One?" Or would it retain its squadron callsign?

If I remember correctly:

Army... Army 1
Navy... Navy 1
Air Force... Air Force 1
Marines... Marine 1
Coastie... Coast Guard 1
Civiie... Executive 1

So just for S&G's. If Bush was in say..... an arrow. flying, would that be Executive 1? Say he rented from a local FBO and was flight training.

I think a Cherokee would look sweet in that duck-egg blue "UNITED STATES..." paint job! :D

As far as I know yes. Now I am not an official White House official, but that is what I heard, and it seems credible, even in a Civvie aircraft they want to have a particular call sign for the safety of the CINC.

I think the Secret Service would make him train in something that can handle four seats. Just imagine being the CFI, not only are you training the President, but you would have two loaded Secret Service agents in the back.

Personally I don't like walking into situations knowing that I would be the least armed person present.
