Can anyone recommend a good objective history of the war in Vietnam to me, one wherein the author doesn't have an obvious agenda? (Books by McNamara or Ellsberg don't seem like good places to start...)
Yea it is in the book stores and Amazon.com, "Viet Nam the Necessary War", points out the efforts of leftists to discredit US policy, a very different slant on the accepted preception of the War, and it was an offical war, a congressionally approved war with conditional objectives.
