Thanks F9 for posting the link...

See if any of the Boeing drivers catch the indescrepancy

And all the screens are black. Or is it the angle?

Is it descending to 8000 feet or level at 8000 meters with the standby altimeter not switchable to meters?

Descending through FL29.3 to 8000' (or FL 080 depending on what part of the world they are in).

Looks like the gear & flaps are up.

Can't read the screens due to the angle, but the engine instruments are somewhat visable in the center display.

I don't drive these, but don't you put the gear handle to a "neutral" position after they are retracted??? So that the handle is somewhere the middle of the travel?

The F/O has some "wolfman" issues...

The "classic" B747 series required you to place the gear handle to neutral, but there was a NTC some years ago (10 maybe?) that cancelled that requirement. Too far back (and too many types past) to remember exactly when.

Here's you answer!!

stdby alt off 330'?
or maybe
WAFDOF?

The stanby alt. is not corrected for temp and should always read higher than the prim. alt.that gets it's info from the ADC.
