Thanks for the memories.. USA Jet is good. Their pilots are good folks !! Yip.. well...he's ok too for an older fella. Tough boss... but fair.

I have a DTW layover later this month.. PM me YIP.. I'll stop by for coffee.

PilotYip always makes a good case for your company. Prior to attending the 2000 Air Inc job fair in Atlanta, I had never heard of USAJet, but he had such a good presentation that that was where I wanted to go. Unfortunately I was still a CFI at that point and didn't quite have the total time he wanted.

In any case - one of the recurring point he makes on this board re USAJet - that the upper five figure/low six figure income USAJet offers its employees who've been there a while, when coupled with living in base, make for a decent life for the right type of person. Believe me, I was at a regional for 5.5 years and lived in base for most of it; there are some parts of USAJet that can be quite appealling, while I'm sure there are some not fun things about working there as well.

Charter rocks unless you like boring I know whats going to happen schedules. Ofcourse it always helps when you have good dispatchers that let you off to go do things where ever you get stuck and not hold you at the hotel because of the chance in hell of getting that one trip.:p
