Can anyone provide any info on this?

Back many moons ago USAir management said that the needed the F-100 to over fly hubs to cut down on hub traffic. Does anyone have any info on this or provide any references? Ultimately, USAir management decided that to use the F-100 on these routes was un-profitable.

USAir did away with F100's years ago...unless you mean to use another similar aircraft for the same mission?

That's correct. The F-100 was parked in 2003. I was interested in how USAir used the aircraft initially and why they pulled back from the hub over flights.
