There's not a "typical schedule" at USA Jet.

The transition plan at Atlas is in place. The 747 classics are being retired, ahead of this year's schedule-by the end of Feb, 2012. 3 of the 6 were retired in Dec/Jan and the other 3 are going to the desert this month.

The FE's are furloughed, as they stayed on their own separate seniority list. The classic Capts/FOs are all being retrained on the 747-400/Dreamliner/-8Fs, or the 767s. They have stopped hiring off the street, and there is a pool waiting to start class. Rumour was hiring again Sep, 2012.

PS-I asked the cargo guys here about USA Jet, and they had heard of them-didn't know USAJ now has MDs...

I'm aware of the On demand lifestyle, I should have been more clear. Are schedules built with a certain number of days off? Are there fixed hard days on followed by scheduled days off?
