A couple of our flight crews have been approached by pilots from other operators on the road and asked if it is true that USA Jet is going out of business at the end of the month. I don't know where these rumors start, but there is nothing to this one, we are going to be hiring from our pool, moving DA-20 pilots into the DC-9, pilots are getting pay raises. We are paying our bills. Pay check is good when you go to the bank. We are in this for the long haul.

We hear the same rumors at Ameristar, just ask Country Wild. This guy bases his opinion on hearsay and believes we are the anti-christ of the 135 field. These rumors are funny. Cherry and Grand Air get it plenty also, which for those two happens to be true. Just kidding. I guess it is always easier looking from the outside rather than looking from within. As a pilot, I never want to see any company fail. I do hope the company I work for does better than the competition, but I do hate it when we have pilots on the street. Are all of the 9's up and running?
