Yr.1 Falcon FOs have a guarantee of $33K/yr (65 hrs/mo.)
$38/day
Currently 8 days off out of 28 for Falcon guys-increasing to 10 later, and further down the road a flex schedule of 8, 10, 12 or 14 days off in a 28 day bid period
Currently, due to the nature of the business, pilots often are on the road during their days off. If you are, you can choose to re-schedule them or get paid for them
Latest I heard was interviewing for a pool-no firm class dates at this time
Unis are slacks and white shirt-no hat for Falcons, tie up to the capt (usually no)
12 falcons, 12 DC-9s-about 80? pilots
Their is the normal amount of bitching you hear at any airline. They guys I have met have overall been positive about the company. I like it.
USAJ flies all over the US, Mexico, and E. Canada. Fly night/day, all types of weather, VOR-DME arcs, circles, and flying into new airports a lot-a lot of variety and excellent experience.
U stay in nice hotels. Sometimes loading the freight is hard, sometimes easy. USAJ has been flying a lot-it's a good place to build ME Jet time. All of the instructors have been outstanding, and the pilot group is very good.
Any rumors on class dates at USAJET? I'm swimming in the
pool and heard that if they didn't have a class in Sept that
December is a possibility. Any scoop would be appreciated.
Thanks.
