A friend who works there just told me that this airline is hiring again. Most probably just for six months. What he also told me was that they are not recalling the furloughed pilots until the new pilots finish the training and IOE. So looks like they will have people on the payroll before recalling. Do any other airlines have this kind of hiring practice? Sounds like a scum outfit to me.
