US Helicopters from NYC to JFK - Jumpseating?

I assume that US Helicopters which runs scheduled hourly helicopter service from Manhattan - JFK and JFK - Manhattan is part 121.

Do they take jumpseaters?

the website says they are part 135.

you can't have a 121 helicopter operator here in the US. The FAA stopped that after the NY helicopters crash in 1977. all are 135.

$50, that is cheaper than a cab to Brooklyn. I think the city is $45 flat rate, plus tip.

It used to be $15 for non revs back in the early '90s with NY Helicopter.

Do you have to purchase the NR ticket from your own airline or can you just buy one at the US helicopter counter?

There is another operator in Manhattan (forget the name) that will give you a helicopter ride (jumpseat) about 15 min for free. Just got to get yourself there.

I believe it is Liberty Helicopters, sightseeing tours out of Manhattan.
