Hi,
Open question to anyone at UPS.....
Can a pilot bid "Last out" reserve if he/she didn't want to fly that often ? Or is it a FIFO deal.?
No, a pilot can't do that. At UPS reserve order is now based on TAFB (a RADAR list ) not FIFO. Also ups can and will take crewmembers out of RADAR order (TAFB) for reasons like currency. ie, say for landing currency "you need a landing in the next 60 days so we are taking you out of RADAR order" in pilot speak it really means " you have the days and we don't want to send out two pilots" I think cross dom reserve is now also authorized.
Don't know how busy Reserve is in ONT
Check the Regionals Board...COEX just started basing guys there...they would have more crashpads than UPS ...I have another UPS ONT question: I need a crash pad in ONT this summer, where can I find some listings? Thanks
