I was wondering if anybody out there had any info about the ups pool letters, we received a pool letter last Friday, does anyone know how long your in the pool?...and how do they decide to call you, does it go by flight time or just when they have the next class date?...any info would be great...thanks!!!!

Your interview is scored. When they have a class to fill, they take the highest scoring interviewees in the pool to fill the class. They could call you tomorrow or years from now, it just depends on how well you scored in your interview.

What upser said. I am told that the pool holds 50-60. I have a friend that has been in their since January 15. All aplicants in the pool are evaluated against each other. There is no seniority in the pool. Not a great system imho, but it is what you have to deal with. Good luck on getting to the pool. You'll get called up sooner or later I am sure.

A friend of mine has been in the UPS hiring pool for almost 4 years. Interviewed in summer 2001 and was placed into the pool. 9/11 happened, and hiring stopped. When hiring resumed this past Fall, he was asked to re-interview. And again he was placed right back into the pool. As of last week he still hasn't gotten called.

Brown colored pool

I've been in the pool for a few weeks. I interviewed the first week of Feb and was wondering of anyone else on this forum interviewed about the same time I did.

I also was told there was about 50 people in the pool and they will fill 35 positions for the month of May in two classes. Good luck everyone.

Congrats to UPS poolies. I am trying to prep for a UPS interview and have not found many specifics on this site or on the net. I'm not the most computer-literate guy either. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

go to www.aviationinterviews.com, and www.ups.com. Basically find out everything you can about UPS, why you want to work there and the typical "tell us about a time" stories. Good Luck.

I was going to say the same. Learn EVERYTHING that you can about the company on the UPS web site
