When interviewed by UPS, how long does it take to get the rejection letter or the hired letter? I interviewed on Tue and am waiting on pins and needles. Thanks.

Scott,

If you get a 'thanks, but no thanks', I was told and hear it comes within two weeks. A poolie letter, you get it in 4-5 weeks. It took 5 weeks to get my poolie letter, and that was back in Jan.

Good Luck.

the wait killed me

I waited over 4 weeks to get the "we decided to select other candidates who more closely fit our current business needs."

My husband interviewed 4 weeks, 2 days ago and hasn't heard anything! They certainly know how to make you sweat. I'm tempted to call them myself. ;)

Apparently the board that decides everyone's fate met last week. I bet you'll get a letter this week. If not I would call, because as per their own words and letter, "you will get a letter within 4 weeks."

Does anyone know if you can reapply after a certain period of time, say 6 months?

The email I recieved before the interview also asked "please do not call the office". I'm not sure if I should call, but I may if I don't get notification by the end of the week.

A guy I just flew a trip with interviewed in JAN and hasn't heard anything!
They haven't sent a PRIA request to either of his 2 employers over the last 5 years. He is ready to go off the deep end.

Anyone have a link to UPS's pilot/hiring page? I've searched all over and only find package and operations positions. Thanks..

5 weeks to the day after his interview my husband FINALLY got the "congratulations you're in the pool letter". Good luck to all of you still waiting!

Welcome to the family (almost). Can you tell me what his experience was? Let us all know when he gets out of the pool. FYI to all, I was told by HR that the pool holds 50-60 people.

Thanks for the welcome!!
He was called for the medical one week after his pool letter arrived. Then 3 days after his medical he was called with a class date. In fact, he starts class today (April 18). His experience has been all civilian and he has 6500 TT. CL-65 for the past couple of years + EMB120 for a few years before that. Good luck to everyone still waiting!!
