I’d have to say the old gouge is still pretty accurate except there was no written “questionnaire” this time.

I've heard some non-poolees are getting interviews, now. A rec from a management pilot is better than a rec from a line pilot.

Unfortunately, a Management LOR goes much futher than a line guys LOR... UPS values their Manager's quite a bit...

Yes, there have been non-poolies interviewing. Ive heard there has been a mix of both at each interview... I have 3 friends that are waiting on UPS to call them, All 3 have completed thier interviews, Medicals, and were offered conditional offers... Still waiting on the final call... 2 were in the pool and 1 was not in the pool. The person who was not in the pool had a really good Management LOR if that tells you anything... I wish it was different, but then again, its part of the way the culture is here... Good luck to all...
