I plan on jumpseating UPS sometime soon out of ONT. Any chance of being able to park in the employee lot there at UPS? I don't mind paying some $$ to park there...it would be more convenient than other options. Who would I talk to/call? Or is this impossible? Thanks!

There is no parking pass anymore so I think it would be OK -- as long as you don't leave it there forever.

awesome! Thanks. It will only be there for a week. Is there just the one jumpseat on the 75/76 or are there a few more up front like i've seen on the 747?

Our 757s and 767s have 4 jumpseats. The 767 is much more roomy and comfortable. If you are the only jumpseater on the 767, you can bring your bags up into the cockpit, otherwise they'll go in the belly.
The 757 is much more "cozy," shall we say.

If the crew operating the flight rates a meal, there will be a crew meal and drinks there for you also, at no charge.

As for parking your car in the employee lot....I don't see why not. Nobody checks anything out there. No parking stickers or passes are required for us, so I don't know how anyone would know your car wasn't an employee's car. In fact, I've seen some old beaters out there that look like abandonded cars to me. If you have a car cover, I would use it.... otherwise your car will easily have at least an inch of dirt and dust on it in a week.

Car Parking

Technically I believe you're supposed to let the gateway know if you'll be leaving your car there (same as UPS employees), but I've never left my car there, saw it on the bulletin board sometime ago.
