I worked for UPS for over half a decade (on the ground side of things). Do you think they would consider a person that had all the qualifications other than a degree, or toss the resume?

You are the perfect candidate that Brown likes, except for the degree. Do you really expect to make the 6 figure salary UPS pays without a degree? Get it done and you should have an excellent chance IMO.

A friend of mine got hired there around 1998 with no degree. Just commuter time 1900, CRJ.

Hey guys brand new to the pool hows everyone holding up? So who has been the longest so far?

I've got 13 months of pool time. I think LLB has me beat by one month. We're just training for the Olympic team for 08. Give me two more years and I'll be ready to go for the gold! Come join us.

Hey Guys/gals, any idea if there's a class in MarchApril?
Also, any idea when when talks are going to resume???
Just another fellow poolie floating around.

Welcome to the pool. I do have Mr. B. beat by one month. 14 months and stop counting. Not proud of it, but still holding on. One class was set for April 3rd with 6 guys. No new news on anything else.

Splash, splash in the old UPS pool.

All you swimmers...

What seem to be the magic numbers to get called? Is an inside rec pretty much required these days for those of us who have not landed the shuttle?

I think you still need an inside rec. even if you have landed the shuttle.
