Interested if anyone, perhaps new-hires, may know what is considered competitive for UPS. Does type of time (91, 135, 121) have any consideration? Thank you in advance.

hopeful.

When I was there I saw every single type of time come in for the newclasses. All 135, regionals, america west types, military, you name it.I think they look for a diverse group. Just get a good LOR and wait forthe call....best of luck.

I was at the AIR INC job fair this weekend. UPS stated they preferred multiple good LOR in addition to good PIC time, the more the better ~ 2000+ Jet PIC, 5000+ total time, FAR 1.1. Good Luck. BTW UPS did not have very long lines while I was there. MAybe someone saw different later in the fair. Good luck to all.

Most of the people there probably didn't want to have to wear a brown uniform if hired!

Tee Hee !

If I get hired I'll wear my ping thong over the top of my brown uniform slacks, except I'll wear it back to front for full effect !

Dang it ! Did I just fail some kind of Psych test ????

UPS, Hire me cos I'm good looking and funny !

One night an African American pilot from UPS came over wearing that brown Uniform...it threw me for a second, but I finally figured out what was going on. It's different looking for sure, but it's also the corporate color. I think it's nice that they wear something different than the rest of the airlines.

I think its kinda gay, but I guess after about year two you'll get paid enough to wear it.
