UPS hiring update...anyone??

Just wondering if anyone can tell me what's going on at UPS as far as hiring is concern. Are they still going to hire in 2008? or just trying to adjust to age 65 rule?

Any info is greatly appreciated.

UPS 08 hiring

Rumors are that hiring will be minimal in 08. Any hiring will come from the pool first (50-60 people) since HR seems to have disbanded their pilot interview teams. No hiring numbers will be decided until age 65 and other issues are worked out. Just what I've heard.

A friend who went to the recent AirInc seminar was told by a UPS recruiter that there probably won’t be any hiring in 2008.
