How can one find out about Ground School Instructor or Simulator Instructor at UPS? Do any of you guys know about the pay or working conditions? What are the chances of moving to a line position? Or maybe into management?

What are they looking for in terms of experience and background? Is corporate good enough, or do they want airline experience?

Anyone? UPSers?

I don't know for sure but I think it's a management position and if that is the case, you cannot ever go to the line. You are forever......ON THE DARK SIDE!

I'm a sim instructor, but also a line pilot. The check airman and ground school guys are management, but most of the instructors in the sim are line folks(union) that alternate between flying the line and teaching in the sim. Take care.
