UPS Feeder Rumor?

Has anyone heard any rumors to the effect of UPS cutting down their number of feeder locations and/or companies and switching to a fleet of caravans like FedEx? Supposedly this info was on caravanpilots.com, but I haven't been able to find anything.

ah, the old rumor mill...and that particular site is the worst of them

anywhoo, i do know of some trimming going on at UPS, but nothing as drastic as what you refer to.
