UPS 747 Classic

Are the classic 747's in the UPS fleet going to be painted with the new logo or are they going to be replaced by newer 747's on order? Just curious.

PCD, A UPS mechanic told me that none of the old ones would be painted as it cost too much and adds too much weight. As the -400's come in all the oldies will be sold as they cost too much to maintain. Let Kalitta worry about painting them when they get them.
