what regional has the quickest upgrade time and how long is it now?

Thanks in advance

Pinnacle is currently down to 2.5 years. Of course that will change. I'm guessing it will stay around 2.5, maybe go to 2 in the next few bids, and then start going up. It all depends on who has the flight time and who doesn't.

CommutAir has seen upgrades lately of folks with the company less than a year. I imagine that will change a little, but I'd bet some people will be at or near upgrade in less than 1.5 years for a while still.

Great Lakes is at about 1.5 years right now, and that number should trend downward by a few months as the year goes on

Long upgrade at a decent company, or a short upgrade at a place like Lakes where you get treated like $hit and get paid like $hit. Remember, there's nowhere to go above the regionals so wherever you end up you'd better be able to live with that company for a while.

They might not be handing out class dates as fast as the unemployment checks, but there is a bit movement...

America West
ATA
Frontier
SW
Alaska (rumor)
Fedex (rumor)

Even with the rumors, better to have the PIC than not.

SkyWest, which had EMB CP go pretty much to new hires last year is settling into the 2-3 year range. Jet Captain is at 3.5-4 years now.

mesa- immediate DHC-8
