A couple of random questions:

How long does the training take at your company when upgrading from FO to Capt?

Also, When do you get your raise? Do you get Capt pay during the training, or do you stay at your FO rate until completion?

Thanks

Wow, you must be new.

Lets see, when I first hired on the upgrade was a year per seat and sometimes a little less. So that would be into the third year to make capt. Typical you make f/o pay until you have completed ALL upgrade training. That would include IOE at most companies. Most dont pay capt's rate until you are eligible to bid your first month as a capt

PSA upgrade lasts about 2.5 weeks of ground school, followed by 10 sim sessions. You continue with FO pay until after IOE, then they pay you captain pay retroactive to your type-ride date.
