I have a question for everyone in the LUV pool.

Currently in the pool

I just received the update package from the PD.

I know that they may contact my present employer and that I can check the box that says no to contacting them. by checking NO, I assume that the PD will still be requesting my records (PRIA). Or am I wrong.

This is the situation. I'm pretty far down the list and I am hearing no class till next year. My present employer won't be happy once they find out that I will be leaving, even though it's down the road. This will make for a difficult work environment for me to say the least.

I have seen the way others have been treated here once the word got out. anyone have any idea how I can relay this to the PD without being a pain the the butt and without ending up with a delayed class date due to them not having my records.

Thanks.

JB-

I did not face this problem, being in the military. However, I think SWA is EXTREMELY understanding about the situation you are in. I remember the staff in the People Department telling us in the interview that they did not want to cause problems at your current work place. My suggestion to you is to call LL and discuss it with her before you finish your update and send it in. If you have not spent much time talking to her, you will find her very genuine, helpful, and honest (back me up on this, fellow poolies). Just be honest with her and I’m sure she will steer you in the right direction for your situation. Take care.
