Since hiring started in April of 2005, 234 pilots have been hired. Of that 234 pilots hired, 7 have been women. Holy Sh!t! That's .03 percent women. Where will it end?

As far as you other whiners with 10,000 hours and no interview, just keep trying don't lose the faith I am a white guy and it worked out for me.

So instead you are comfortable with UAL's past hiring practices of minorities and women? LOL...something doesn't smell right here.

It's easier for Old (Dude, your only 32) Tbagger and Crickett to blame CAL's hiring practices for their short falls. It's not your fault, really. It's CAL's.

I am not sure what CAL is looking for --but not someone that has been there 9 years and has chief pilots recommendation has well...oh well
the pay sucks---SW Airtran Fed Ex Is where I want to end up--not 16 years from now a FO on 737 making nothing!!!! and going to GUAM for 30.00 a hour.... GREAT Company and GREAT PEOPLE too---just bad recruiting...

THAT'S funny. At least they're decent enough to give you the bad news early. As far as females and minorities go, I think CAL is only interviewing white guys who PRETEND to be a woman in the privacy of their own homes....
