Can anyone tell me of any pilot career fairs that are coming up???????

Just get another 250 hours and get 100 multi and you can send your resume to just about anyone these days...

It beats buying a $300-400 ticket to go chat with people for a few hours.

Do you have some weird fetish with question marks?

I agree with the other poster. Suck it up and instruct for another 250 hrs and then send your resume to the regionals. Better yet, why don't you build another 450 and go spend time in the 135 cargo world first.

Stop being in such a hurry to get to the regionals. It sounds like you are suffering from SJS - Shiny Jet Syndrome. It's just another freakin' airplane.

Ease up!!!!!!!!!! (exclamation points are my fetish!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!):D

The guy was just asking a question (sorry I don't know any job fairs comming up.) Your suggestion about flying for cargo in the 135 world is great advice and it's what helped me get to where I am. If you would have kept your other comments to yourself, you might have had some credibility.

Hey Thanks For Coming to my Defense Torpid!!

It's too bad that Howlin Murdoc ding-bat, and his slick little comments have way to much Time on his hands to make Bulls!%&T Comments instead of offering serious advice..........................Besides most cargo outfits aren't gonna have You unless You can meet 135 PIC minimums...................

And, you sir, appear to have a reading comprehension problem. Here's what I wrote:

So, track with me as I discuss simple math. Your profile indicates 750 hrs. Add another 450, as I mentioned, and you'll be at 1200 hrs which is the mins to fly 135 IFR. Which, if I'm not mistaken, was serious advice. Flying 135 cargo will make you a better pilot.

As for me busting your chops about SJS, remember this post you wrote recently?

You've been instructing for a whole 5 months and already want out. And yet, you get mad when I say you appear to suffer from SJS? Uh, okay...

Call me a dingbat; I spend a lot of time in mental hospitals (reference my named counterpart from an '80s TV show). Actually, I already fly in the 121 world having spent time flying 135 night cargo.

Good luck in your career.
