My folks coming home from Europe get to Dulles to find their final flight home put off due to no crew rest for the pilots. Told about every half hour, for the next five hours that a crew will be there. They are finally told a plane just left somewhere, will be there in an hour, and they will get that jet. Of course the jet shows up they get ready to load when the pilots walk off since they don't have crew rest. Are you really that bad at scheduling? Is today the first day you've been in business and you're just learning how to schedule? Is there special training for gate agents to act like complete a$$holes? Whatever happened to customer service? This is why flying sucks so much, no one gives a crap about standards.
