Union leader hit with embezzlement charge

CHICAGO, IL, United States (UPI) -- U.S. authorities Tuesday charged the former president of United Airlines` flight attendants union with embezzling.
Dianna Rushing, 54, is charged with embezzling more than $10,000 from the union between July 2003 and January 2004, Crain`s Chicago Business reported. Officials said all the money had been recovered.
Rushing is a retired flight attendant who served as president of the Association of Flight Attendants, Local Executive Council 8 (Chicago).
She faces a maximum sentence of five years in prison and a $250,000 fine.

$10,000? For the criminals on Wall Street that's a fee for a half-hour of "consulting" over a $500 martini-fueled lunch! They must be getting a kick over this one. Laughing all the way to the country club.

Heck, 10K is peanuts compared to Adelphia, Enron, Health South, MCI, etc etc.
 
Difference is she will do time.
The guys that screwed thousands out of million$ will likely never see any time inside.
