What are the considerations?
ie is it grounding, is it something you treat and fly with or?
Anyone heard any cures or even causes?
Thank you.

If it's a Peptic ulcer it can be treated with a combination of antibiotics and H2 blockers. It's fairly straight forward treatment. Your doc may test for H. pylori bacteria. Once it's treated you should be good to go.
Good luck

I just got my medical renewed and the AME specificially said that an ulcer is disqualifying. Once the ulcer is treated and cured, documentation must be presented to OKC proving as such in order to be legal to fly.

Just run a search and I am sure you will find out all of the specifics.
