Uh, I'm a Skywest pilot, and virtually NO ONE that I know is even remotely excited about flying out of IAH. The only people who this was "good" for are people sick of commuting out of IAH to DEN and ORD. Now we are even less excited. Can't wait to see how HDQ spins this tomorrow. They have exactly 48 hours to rework the schedules or face mass sick-calls New Year's Day.

P.S. Why do you Skywest-bashers continually forget that UNION Shuttle America starts EWR flying 1/1/11 as well?

So now what? Does CO/UA file an appeal and tie this up in court for who knows how long and the flying goes off as planned? What a mess.

Someone that's says he/she is going to take our flying whether deemed legal or not is absolutely the enemy.

Counsil: A type of committee that leads or governs.
Counsel: Give advice to (someone).

Yea yea yea... whatever you say. Your are obviously just a bitter pilot. I think you should quit your job and so I have a better chance at getting hired at United. I think Home Depot is hiring. BTW its not like I have a choice in whether I fly a 70 seat jet on your turf.

Think twice????? And then what? Not got to work? Refuse to fly? And get fired? Remember we don't have a union at SkyWest. My employment at my airline is always at risk because I dont have the protection of a union. Unfortunatley for me. I was among the 32 percent that voted in favor of a union during the last drive.

Regarding the flying in question: Yes. You have to refuse to fly it. I had to go to arbitration and fight, now you have to fight. I'm sorry. You've had 3 votes over there. You fly a 70 seat jet for the same wage as a 50. Where did you think that was going to lead you?

Skywest will start the flying as scheduled, but with 200s. This came from CC.

I've been a pilot for SkyWest for 6 years. And you can't blame any of our pilots for busting your scope clause. As a pilot on reserve I will be forced into flying some of those routes out of the Continental crew bases. Im sorry but its going to happen.

If you fly out of those bases, it will not be for Continental Airlines.

Ok sure. I will refuse to fly in IAH or whatever other aweful bases continental has. Then what? Get fired? You continental pilots need to get over yourself's. Stop blaming us SkyWest pilots. Instead blame your crapy managment.

Great job to the CAL guys! Now to axe all those illegal flights from the sched. Saw that Skywest was flying to Colorado Springs on the fourth as CO 1112. Hope to see that equipment change soon to an ERJ 145 or better yet a 735! Good show.

Yeah, its gonna be done with Skywest CRJ-200's for now. Weather the IAH base remains open is up to question now.
