The local channel in DFW had late news that UAL had gotten their financing under Chapter 11 finalized. This means all that has to be done to officially be under Chapter 11 protection is the filing of the papers with the court. The news said this was expected later this evening or tomorrow morning.
Who would have thought a few years ago that this would happen. Hopefully a leaner and more efficient United will emerge out of this. Best wishes to anyone this ends up affecting.
