UAL 777 at Seatac -- Daily Taxi

For the UAL guys -- why do you taxi your 777 from one concourse to another and not tow it? As I understand this is a daily occurrence for the 777 coming in from NRT that comes into the South Concourse then is taxied to the North Concourse.
