For logging purposes. Which date is my legal date for obtaining my type? I ask this because there were 2 dates of events dealing with my type, here they are in the order they happened.

1. Check ride date.
2. Date of endorsement from the CP & temp issue from FSDO.

Never in my life ever saw a "check ride date" that is different from the "Temp issue date", but if there is, the date of the paper, the temporary issue certificate is what I would go with.

It my case, check airman is with the company.. ride was complete at like 1am.. When I got back to base 5 days later, saw the CP, he gave me the endorsement to bring to the FSDO..

PIC or SIC Type Rating

It sounds like you are talking about an SIC ONLY Type Rating. If that is the case then it is the checkride date you can use, assuming you flew as SIC before actually going to the FSDO to get the new temp. Your training records that you completed the SIC program quailify until you get the temporary.

Yes, it is SIC.. I did fly as SIC before I got the temp..

In theory the "checkride" in your case is not a checkride. You were merely meeting the training requirements for the SIC Type. Your Date of issuance is on your temp.

Which means you flew as sic before you got the sic type and that's no big deal unless you flew internationally. If you did there may be some concern.
