First of all let me start off with saying that I am not going to give the names of the two regionals because I want UNBIASED opinions based only on the facts so to speak.

Here's the situation, I have a class date with Airline #1 towards the middle to the end of May.

I am also hired by Airline #2 and was told I was "penciled" in for a June class.
The problem is I want to go to Airline #2 because it is a better airline but I do NOT want to pass up a class date with Airline #1 because in this industry you never know. Also since I have no confirmation from Airline #2, I'm scared to pass up the first class date. One more thing, Airline #1 is tied to US Airways, but is growing rapidly, that is something else I'mworried about.

I just want to know what you guys think about this and would like some opinions. Any opinions are greatly appreciated.

Go to the first class, decide about the second one when/IF the time comes.

As far as you're concerned right now, you only have one date.

Take the class date with Airline #1.

You can always quit if Airline #2 comes through. It's pretty common for people to quit during groundschool or shortly after. I don't think anyone will hold it against you in the future.

If airline #1 is the company I'm thinking about then 5 out of a class of 12 that started a little over 6 months ago have already quit. That aside it's a decent place to work. All the people that quit moved on to bigger and better.

thanks

thanks for what info you guys did provide. Username, thanks for the info...it definitely helps out a lot
